Our Families

Brandon and Elise both love spending time with their families. We would love for you to know a little about them too, since they are such an important part of our lives!

Brandon's Family

Brandon has a lot of people in his immediate family! Brandon is the oldest in his family. Brandon's parents are Darla and Terry (Terry is actually Brandon's adoptive father--but he's dad to everyone). Both of his parents grew up in Idaho Falls, where they still live today. Terry loves to talk sports with his sons and refereeing baseball games, and Darla loves to shop. But both of them love to be grandparents!!

Brett, Kimberly, Hayden, and Quinn

Brett is Brandon's first brother and he's about 2 1/2 years younger than Brandon. Brett is an electrician in the Air Force and lives on an Air Force base outside of Kansas City with his lovely wife Kimberly and their adorable kids Hayden and Quinn. Hayden loves to play with Brandon and is 5 now! Crazy! Cadence adores her baby cousin Quinn, who is a busy little girl just like Cadence.

Bryan, Lacey, and Hylind

Next comes Bryan, who is just a little younger than Elise (and 4 years younger than Brandon). Like Brett, Bryan is in the Air Force in the Military Police, stationed in Minot, North Dakota. Bryan is married to spunky Lacey and they have a cute and loving little girl named Hylind, who is 4. In December, they welcomed a little baby boy, Stryker.

Brittany, Dan, and Danny Coyne

Brandon's youngest sibling is his baby sister--ten years younger than him!! Despite the age difference, Brandon is a softy for his "favorite" sibling. Brittany is recently married to Dan, and they have just had a little baby boy, Danny! Danny and Cadence are great buddies and hang out a lot.

Elise's Family

There aren't quite as many people in Elise's family. Elise's parents are Ron and Nancy. Ron is originally from a suburb of Chicago in Illinois and Nancy is originally from a suburb of Los Angeles, but both reside in Madison, Wisconsin, where Elise grew up. Ron works hard as an architect and entrepreneur and Nancy, like Darla, likes to shop--but she also loves to travel with Elise!

Theo

Theo is Elise's big (and only) brother. Theo is just a year and a half older than Elise and is the family's "starving" artist. He does fantastic art and has lived in Los Angeles (he has even done caricatures at Six Flags!!). Now he is pursuing Occupational Therapy in Wisconsin.

Extended Family

Then there is the "rest" of the family....

Look at all those relatives!! This is a mix of relatives from both of our families at our wedding reception, including cousins, uncles, aunts, and grandparents. We see many of our extended family frequently and others less so, but we enjoy hanging out with all of them!

And Brandon is especially close to his Grandpa, Odell. Here are two of his favorite people--his grandpa and his wife (only Cadence is missing from the shot!).
